“Humanity’s true moral test, its fundamental test…consists of its attitude towards those who are at its mercy: animals.” ― Milan Kundera

The Unbridled Heroes Project visited the New Holland Auction in PA this past Monday to observe and document any violations of the current statutes regarding livestock cruelty. What we saw was beyond anything we expected. While we went as a voice to our horses, we saw the suffering of so many others. What we have documented here is the rescue of two lambs left to die. While the footage is hard to watch, the ending is beautiful. However, there are so many just like these two left in New Holland, being tortured weekly. As America, we can do better, we have to do better. While we were there I was confronted by the manager of the Cranbury Auction in NJ. I was threatened and at that point, feeling unsafe, we left with the 2 lives we could save. We will not be bullied and as a nation, these criminals must abide by the laws and statutes set forth by our government. This is not happening or being enforced. We will be following up with our state representatives to take action on what we saw. Attached is the video of us leaving that day. As I am a little uncomfortable being so vulnerable, I think it is important to show our truth, and the emotions felt that day and the genuine fear. We also have Included the youtube video of the two sheep we were able to save. https://www.facebook.com/amy.mccambridge/videos/10104343958119964/
